Superchargers2015Supercharger's (Wednesday) Year Book Report

This last year it has been great to welcome Neil Ross on to the team.  He has such brilliant ideas which the young people love!  It has also been good to welcome a few new children from Welton School following on from NFest as well as two children from Peasedown St John.
We finished watching the “What’s in the Bible?” DVD series which was excellent (please ask us if you’d like to borrow any of them as it is a great resource). Themes we have covered over the last year include “All Creatures Great & Small” looking at different animals in the bible, “Transformers” which was about characters who had experienced God & Jesus who has transformed their lives and “Tutti Frutti” which covered each fruit of the Spirit.
Pastor Mike was our “Mystery Guest” one evening and he came and gave his testimony.  The young people listened really well (how does he do that???).
We had a number of joint evenings with Dynamos over the last year including two movies nights at the chapel – “The Muppet Christmas Carol” and “Chicken Run”.  The rain held off for our joint Fireworks Spectacular-ish at Neil & Jose’s and our annual Family Christmas Craft Night was successful where Matt gave a short talk too!  However, our “piece de resistance” on the joint social front this year has to go to our “Family Skittles Night” just before Easter!  We were slightly worried how this would work but in fact, it was worked incredibly well!!
Super Chargers is run by Jo & Matt Coomes & Neil Ross with Naomi Sanders and Holly Coomes as helpers.  We meet at St John’s Ambulance Hall on Wednesday nights during term time and we welcome Year 5 & 6 children along to join us!  Please get in touch if you would like to be involved!

Welcome

Who are we?

members
We are a church of people from all walks of life who share the common goal of following Jesus and being open about Him with others in our everyday lives. The church is vibrant with lots going on for people of all ages and backgrounds. We’re engaged in local and global mission, and passionately believe that every person has a part to play. We follow Christian Bible teaching, believing it’s through a loving relationship with Jesus Christ that we can experience life in its fullest and have the security of knowing we’ll live forever with God.

We’re part of the local Baptist Association and we are members of the Evangelical Alliance, and regularly connect with the local Churches in our area for prayer and community outreach.

Head to our 'What's on' tab to check out how you can get involved with us.

What is our vision?

We are a Church with a clear vision. It's sourced in the Bible and expressed in these simples phrases:

Coming up images
The 'how' we do these things is a bigger story and one you can learn about by checking out other pages on our site. God has called each of us to be a part of His mission in this life, full of purpose, and confident as His sons and daughters. It's a vision we would love for you to explore with us. Church is not just about Sundays, and we aim to see our faith in Jesus impact every part of our lives, and those around us.
