Access to ours sites

We believe church should be accessible to everyone. At Welton Baptist Church, we are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. We will do all we reasonably can to support your participation in our services, activities, and events.
We recognise that accessibility includes more than physical access, and we are committed to supporting people with a wide range of access needs wherever reasonably possible. We are currently exploring additional ways to support those with hearing impairments as part of our ongoing commitment to improving accessibility.

Paulton Rovers Football Club
Our Sunday services at Paulton Rovers Football Club are fully accessible for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility.
Accessibility features include:

  • Step-free access throughout the venue
  • Designated accessible parking spaces
  • Additional on-site parking
  • Accessible toilet facilities
  • Flexible seating arrangements, with chairs easily removed to accommodate wheelchairs and other mobility aids
  • Spacious circulation areas, allowing room to manoeuvre mobility aids comfortably during services
In addition, our weekly talks are recorded and made available on our website, enabling people to listen from home if they are unable to attend in person.
If you have any specific requirements before attending, please get in touch and we will do our best to assist.

The Chapel
As a historic listed building, our chapel has some accessibility limitations. However, we have taken steps to make the ground floor as accessible as possible.
Accessibility features include:
  • Designated accessible parking spaces
  • Wheelchair ramp providing access to the ground floor
  • Accessible toilet facilities on the ground floor
  • Level access throughout the main chapel area, where our services and events take place
Please note:
  • There is no wheelchair access to the upper floor
  • Access to the upper floor is via a steep staircase only
  • Due to the building's listed status, it has not been possible to install a lift
Most activities can be accommodated on the ground floor. If you have specific access requirements, please contact us before your visit so that we can discuss how best to support you.

The Town Park Amphitheatre
During the summer months, some of our services take place outdoors at the Town Park Amphitheatre.
Accessibility features include:
  • Step-free access to the amphitheatre
  • Vehicles may be driven directly to the amphitheatre for dropping off or collecting those with mobility difficulties
  • Open seating area with space for wheelchairs and mobility aids
Please note:
  • Access to the amphitheatre is across grass, which may be uneven or soft depending on weather conditions
  • Ground conditions may be more challenging for some wheelchair users and those with limited mobility, particularly after wet weather

If you have any concerns about access or mobility, please contact us before attending and we will be happy to discuss how we can best support you.

Who are we?

members
We are a church of people from all walks of life who share the common goal of following Jesus and being open about Him with others in our everyday lives. The church is vibrant with lots going on for people of all ages and backgrounds. We’re engaged in local and global mission, and passionately believe that every person has a part to play. We follow Christian Bible teaching, believing it’s through a loving relationship with Jesus Christ that we can experience life in its fullest and have the security of knowing we’ll live forever with God.

We’re part of the local Baptist Association and we are members of the Evangelical Alliance, and regularly connect with the local Churches in our area for prayer and community outreach.

Head to our 'What's on' tab to check out how you can get involved with us.

What is our vision?

We are a Church with a clear vision. It's sourced in the Bible and expressed in these simples phrases:

Coming up images
The 'how' we do these things is a bigger story and one you can learn about by checking out other pages on our site. God has called each of us to be a part of His mission in this life, full of purpose, and confident as His sons and daughters. It's a vision we would love for you to explore with us. Church is not just about Sundays, and we aim to see our faith in Jesus impact every part of our lives, and those around us.
