‘Energy Kids’
‘Energy Kids’ is the collective name for our children’s groups. Our aim is for children to grow in faith, experience God, develop friendships, get connected and love others.
Energy Kids is a place where children are accepted, kept safe, cared for and can grow in trust within God’s family.
ADDITIONAL NEEDS
We are passionate about being inclusive; and have people on our volunteer team with specialist skills in special and additional needs. We are striving to be a church that welcomes every child, no matter what challenges they may experience.
SAFEGUARDING
Welton Baptist Church takes child protection very seriously. No-one is allowed to volunteer in any of our children's or young people's groups without having been through a strict vetting procedure including a DBS check. We have a clear policy in place if a child or young person discloses information to any of our volunteers, and we have an obligation to pass on any concerns we may have over a child's or young person's wellbeing. We seek to act sensitively at all times.
