We hope everyone is keeping well during Lockdown 2.0. Whilst it’s great news about vaccines coming soon, we still want to be looking out for each other in the next few months. So...

The Welton@home email is still up and running and fulfilling requests with help for shopping, collecting prescriptions etc... Click here to go to the form.

We are also looking at ways to support those who might be feeling isolated by encouraging the idea of ‘prayer & chat walks’ in pairs around our community. We feel this could be a fruitful time God uses us within our community in an OUT focused way of spending time with another person. If this is something you would like to do, please get in touch and we’ll aim to connect people together in pairs.

IMG 2448 (1)During this lockdown period we recognise the importance of prayer, staying focused on our loving Father and again, remembering what we can do rather than get bogged down with what we can't do.  With these things in mind, there will be regular opportunities to come to the chapel for silent prayer over the next couple of weeks and this can be as creative or as simple as you make it.  You are invited to come to pray, using this time to connect with God, listen to His voice, pray, praise, worship.  Looking after our physical and mental wellbeing is more important than ever and this includes having a purpose and focus to help motivate us.  The chapel will be a safe and prayerful place to come, with all the guidelines in place.  It will be unlocked and pre-heated for you, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, between 10am and 2pm and again on Saturday 11am to 2pm.  It will be manned during opening times, so if there are any issues, please go to the chapel office, remaining socially distant and somebody will be there to help or answer any questions.  So, practically all you need to do on arrival and exit is sign in/out, use the hand sanitiser provided and wear a face mask.  Also, please use the anti bac wipes to wipe your seat before leaving.  Any queries, please get in touch with Clare Green by email at:

During any lockdown, please be aware that we won’t be meeting in Communities but will be online at Go Live Sundays.

Government restrictions on Churches meeting were relaxed on July 4th.  Due to this, we now have meetings every first and third Sunday of the month called Welton Communities at 4 different locations at 10.30am, the first and third Sunday of each month.  There is 1 in Timsbury, 2 in Farrington Gurney and 1 in Paulton.  To find out more about how to attend please email
CommunitiesOnce done, all you have to do is click here to register your attendance (which is all free of charge) and that way the organisers will assign you a table (of no more than 6) and will welcome you, very warmly, on your arrival.  Please know, these meetings are extremely safe and go beyond the guidelines for safety given by the Government and masks must be worn. Everyone is welcome and there is opportunity for children aged 4 – 11 to take part in the previous weeks nFest@home with craft and lots of fun (see below)

Every Sunday we have our Church service online.  These are broadcast at 10.30am and can be found on YouTube by clicking here.  Once there, you can subscribe and also see every service since March which include adult and children services (nFest@home).

This is a great place for anyone aged 17-25 to get connected whether you're new to Welton or been around a while.  During Covid we're meeting on zoom every other Saturday evening at 8pm for one hour.  It’s a time to chat, play games and catch up with each other. We know that joining something new can be a bit overwhelming, especially on Zoom, but go for it, we'd really love to see you and you'll soon feel at home. Please contact Becca Yates at

HousegroupWe believe that our house-groups are an essential part of church life, and even more so during these times. Growing deeper friendships and trust often happens within house-groups as well as discipleship. We have lots of different house-groups, some mixed groups, some for women, some for men, some during the day and others in the evenings. Some meet every week and some meet 'as and when', so we hope that you can find one that suits your needs. All groups are currently meeting on 'Zoom' in line with current guidelines. If you are interested in joining a group or would like more information please contact Clare at

NfestThese are on our YouTube channel (click here) and are broadcast at 9.30am every second and fourth Sunday (when Welton Communities isn't taking place).  These are for children of all ages who enjoy making crafts and having lots of fun.  Crafts can be delivered to you by contacting

This is for children in school years 5 and 6.  Superchargers meet every 2 weeks on zoom and have lots of fun on these calls.  Please email if your child would like to be a part of this.  For those children that would like to take part in Superchargers but are not so comfortable on zoom, please still contact us.  On the weeks that the children don’t virtually meet, care notes will be delivered to let the child know they are thought of and to help them feel a part of the group.  To stay within child guidelines we ask that all parents complete a consent form which can be found here.

This group is for children in school year 7 to age 14.  Voltage meet every Wednesday and Sunday by zoom.  On Wednesday’s the theme is games, fun and laughter and lasts about an hour.  Sunday is just a quick 15 minute zoom where the children can have a catch up and prayer.  It’s been great for children to meet like this and have fun together.  If you would like your child to attend please click here to fill out a consent form and then email for more information.

For ages 14 – 18, Ignite meet on zoom every Friday at 7.30pm.  The youth are currently doing Youth Alpha and are really enjoying it.  They meet together virtually, then watch a video and chat all about it.  There is lots of fun involved but lots of good discussion and a chance for them to encourage and laugh with each other too.  To keep in line with guidelines, please click here to fill out a consent form and then email

Welcome. We're glad you're here
Whether you've just moved to the area or have lived here all your life - we hope our website helps you find out everything you want to know about Welton Baptist Church.
We are a Church with a clear vision.  It’s sourced in the Bible and expressed in 3 simple phrases.  Disciple Making (Matthew 28 v 19), Church Planting (2 Timothy 2 v 2) and World Reaching (Acts 1 v 8).
At this time, we have taken the decision to stop our usual meetings, in line with Government guidance, yet we still have lots going on and welcome you to check out our page:
Church + Covid
This is on our main page.  Click here to go directly over.
Here you will find all the information you need.  Where to find our church services online, how we manage to meet twice a month in communities (except during lockdown), children’s ministry, youth ministry, housegroups and so much more.
We look forward to welcoming you into our family!
